Reed and Ben are told of the world of Mekka, and how all of the living creatures had died. When they were left alone, they escaped their bondage due to the fact that the Thing was simply Ben Grimm in a Thing battlesuit. The fight on Mekka continues, until Reed was able to turn off the robot's energy source. Unable to leave the Mekkans in their powered down state, Ben reactivated the energy source. The were given permission to leave, but the time came and went that they were supposed to be returned.

Johnny and Gorr awake in a dungeon. Gorr is given the opportunity to fight for their freedom in a jousting tournament, which he wins. The King changes the rules and offers their freedom if Gorr would fight and kill a dragon that the knights had found asleep. The dragon awoke, broke free of it's cage and charged the King. The surrounding knights lances turned into laser guns and they killed the dragon. The humanoids were Skrulls looking for fun, and the dragon was the last of the native dominant species on the world. The Skrull's pack up and leave.

Galactus arrives on Counter Earth, and the High Evolutionary approaches him.

The title is now 30 cents. Three essentially different stories with the same theme. It was an enjoyable read.
