Identity: Known to a select few on Earth. Commonly known in some portions of the galaxy.

Base: Deep Space. They have several colonies on planets throughout Earth's arm of the Milky Way spiral.
Observed Powers:
Chitonous Armor: RM vs. all but mental and non-physical attacks.
Mind Control: AM. This is to instill the notion of the Tyranids greatness, and to ensure cooperation. Once the control is established, it need not be maintained. Also, unless this control is removed, the controlled individual's DNA will be tainted.
Claws: RM on 4 arms.
Biological Corruption: AM. Given enough generations, true Geanstealers can be produced from any basic form.
Group Telepathy: For every Genestealer or Corrupted individual on a planet, this is increased by one point. When this rank is powerful enough to contact the nearest Tyranid Invasion fleet, the fleet is automatically aware of it, and will soon be on it's way.

The Genestealers may be found in force on any planet that has a Genestealer Cult on it. They can also be found on derelict ships in space, as well as within an invasion swarm.
History:
Tyranids are creatures of the highest of genetic order. They are constantly looking for new worlds to conquer so they can replenish their fleet, and bring in new genetic material for assimilation into the Tyranid physiology. All Tyranid creatures are designed to fulfill a given role.
Role:
The Genestealer's role is to find rich worlds for the Tyranids to conquer.
