History:
Tony was abandoned by his mother when she couldn't afford both food and her habit. All he knows of himself is that his name is Tony, and his mother was sick.

He was able to survive on the streets by himself by his wits and willingness to do almost anything. He learned early on that an intense surprise attack from the rear can overcome targets much larger than himself. A philosophy of combat that he adheres to to this day.

He has had several run ins with the police, and has spent time in various juvenile detention centers.

During one winter, he was offered a bed and steady meals by the operators of a homeless shelter run by volunteers from the Church of the Blessed Virgin in exchange he had to try to turn his life around, and do various odd-jobs around the shelter. It was here that he met Sister Emanuel.

He has been at the shelter for over three years now.
