Fusion Bottles (c) Cost: The cost of each device is Amazing. Power Requirements: None, it is delivered ready to run. Power Output: Maximum output is Unearthly, can be cycled back to any percentage of that maximum, even zero percent. MTBF: At full power, the device will operate continuously for a year. If the device is used, on average, at 50%, the device will never burn out. Material Strength: The materials and construction of the device give it Monstrous material strength. If the device is breached, there will be a Shift-X intensity explosion, damage done to anyone inside the same area is both Heat and Energy at Shift-X. Every area away from the explosion reduces both effects by 1 column. If the Fusion Bottle is disconnected from it's mounting collar, there will be an electric discharge to anyone in the area. The current power output is divided by however many people are in the area. The power output is almost immediately dropped to 0%. The Fusion Bottle weighs nearly 500 pounds. It is shaped like an old milk bottle, with the power feeds and control contacts being within the mouth of the bottle. There is a flange around the mouth of the bottle that the mounting collar can lock on to. The maximum width is 16 inches on diameter. All devices that are created by RER Industries, or a subsidiary, that use Fusion Bottles for power have mounting collars that prevent an accidental disconnection. Proposed Uses: Provide cheap power for millions of people. Replace every application of nuclear power, with absolutely no fear of nuclear fallout or radiation poisoning. Doesn't need water to create electricity like Fission power. The many divisions of RER Industries will be producing many examples of the device's applications. |
