Weapons: None Detection Equipment:
Miscellaneous Equipment: Power Generator: This device provide power for the various systems aboard the Pilum. The generator can be used to augment, or temporarily replace, the output of the engine. Engine: The engine is a multi-fuel turbine, able to use any burning liquid for fuel. The engine is most efficient when using JP-4 jet fuel, where it can get an hour of maximum power per gallon of fuel. Diesel and kerosene are next, with forty-seven minutes. Gasoline provides the capacity for higher speeds (+1cs), but burns at one gallon per twenty seven minutes. Top speed using gasoline is ninety-three miles-per-hour, using other fuels is seventy-six. Features: The Pilum has crew / passenger seating for 12 and has a 10 ton cargo capacity The vehicle has variable pressure tires to optimize for on road, and off road driving. The treads of which provide thrust when traversing over water. (Poor speed while traveling over water.) It has an adjustable suspension to provide ground clearances from six inches with the tires at their minimum pressure (one foot at road pressure, shown above) to two and a half feet. This varies the vehicles height from eleven feet to thirteen feet. The hatch on the front of the Pilum is the main access hatch. There is also a hatch on the dorsal (top) surface. The Pilum has two one hundred gallon fuel tanks. One of the standard features of all Matsuya Custom Vehicles used by X-Force is the honeycombed armor and frame material. This provides these vehicles with a positive buoyancy above 200 feet under water, even if flooded. The design of the armor is such that is does not weaken the protective capacity of it. Notes: In the depicted configuration, the water level while afloat is halfway up the headlights. With the suspension fully extended, the water level is just below the driving lights and cargo hatches. Taki likes to keep 2 tons of raw material available in the cargo hold.
